new-wbtf-imageYesterday’s public policy choices created today’s economy. Today’s decisions will shape the future to come. You’re invited to join us for a fundraising dinner to help advance public policies that build an economy that works – for everyone.

Enjoy a stimulating social hour with hosted bar, keynote address by environmental and stand-up economist Yoram Bauman, and raffle prizes that will surely enhance your future!

All proceeds will benefit the Economic Opportunity Institute, Washington’s only think tank for the middle class.

EOI brings research, education, and advocacy together in powerful coalitions to work for new public policies that support the middle class, like:

  • Pay It Forward: A debt-free degree for every college or university student, regardless of economic circumstance.
  • Tax Reform: Promoting stable and equitable funding for education, transportation and other public structures that Washington residents and business need to thrive.

Our annual dinner is our largest fundraising event – it’s your an opportunity to help advance public policies that promote good jobs, educational opportunity, healthy families and workplaces, and a dignified retirement for all. Event highlights include:

  • Pre-dinner social hour with hosted bar. “Travel through time” with games and other activities to understand how yesterday’s public policy decisions are now shaping people’s lives – and learn how we can change the future through better public policy choices today.
  • Keynote address by environmental and stand-up economist Yoram Bauman: Perhaps the only person to share a stage with both Robin Williams and Paul Krugman, Yoram will bring his trademark humor to a serious discussion of carbon taxes, climate change and environmental economics.
  • Door prizes and raffle items include: SIFF memberships, Huskies football and Seattle Storm tickets, vacation getaways, and more!

Please join us. With your help, EOI will continue to be a vibrant and independent force building an economy that works – for everyone.
